The jungle would feel much more alive if an occasional wind made the trees move back and forth. But good looks alone won’t be enough for any slot, and the same rings true for Action Jack. This release is played on a 5x4 board, with a total of 40 paylines which cannot be turned on or off.
The reels were always a bit jerky, and the graphics were under par, as if the slot games were still under development, in some Beta test phase. A shame, actually, because Playtech slots always have exhilarating bonus games and fun themes. So obviously, there’s no lack of creativity.

Let’s start with the most important thing: the payout rate and the variance of Jungle Trouble. We have nothing to pick on, on both counts. The payout rate is excellent at 96.04%, and we estimate the variance to be medium, also excellent.
The Jungle Trouble slot has 15 paylines and bets ranging from a minimum of $€ 0.15 to a maximum of $€ 90 per spin. The theme revolves around the crazy antics of a naughty young boy who roams around the jungle and gets in all kinds of mischief with his friends.
Visually this is a very accomplished slot with beautiful graphics, fun animations, and the necessary Big Win and Super Big Win signs.
The Coconuts take centre-stage
There is a special reel for the coconuts. These are the scatter symbols activating the bonus round. Every coconut dropping on reel 2, 3 or 4, increases the wild- multiplier with +1, up to a maximum of 5 x. As soon as the wild multiplier is used with a winning combination, it is reset to 0.
